FLIGHT SIMULATOR

The Payerne Military Aviation Museum, Clin d’Ailes, has a number of interesting simulators. These are simulators of former military aircraft. Some of them are still in working order. But there are also modern simulation facilities for virtual flight.

FLIGHT SIMULATOR CENTER (FSC)

The Flight Simulator Center (FSC) consists of two stations. It is installed in a glass cabin and equipped with powerful computers and large screens for virtual flight training. The FSC is operated by an association of specialists in the discipline. It includes high-end computer equipment such as orientation trackers to track head movements in the simulation, some of the most accurate game controllers on the market, giant screens, adequate sound systems, and more. A unique opportunity to experience a virtual flight on a semi-professional level.

The Flight Simulation Center (FSC)offers a variety of flight initiation modules to help you discover what a pilot can feel in a computer simulated environment.

VIRTUAL FLIGHT SIMULATOR (VFS)

On special occasions, the Virtual Flight Simulation (VFS) group offers interested parties a free introduction to virtual flight with a simulation of the Pilatus PC-7 aircraft on display at the museum.
